About Us

Kahokian Memorial Post 5691
Located in Collinsville, IL, Post 5691 is located 15 miles east of St. Louis, MO.  Our Post is supported by over 750  VFW, Men’s Auxiliary and Ladies Auxiliary members. Our unique blend of veterans from World War II to present, brings history as well as a vision of the future.

Our strong support from the community allows us to operate our facility as an emergency shelter and temporary school evacuation site. Our commitment to the community, backs our slogan of “honor the dead, by helping the living”.

OUR MISSION: To foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts. To serve our veterans, the military, and our communities. To advocate on behalf of all veterans.

OUR VISION: Ensure that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements, and are recognized for the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made on behalf of this great country.
